What went down at the first ever Experior Conference
Experior users from all over the world gathered at Experior Conference 2018 to learn more about Experior and be inspired to utilize Experior in new and exciting ways.
The use of Experior is growing – with more than 700 Experior active licenses worldwide at everything from Tier 1 companies to SMEs. That’s why Xcelgo decided it was time for the Experior users to have a chance to network and learn from each other at the first ever Experior Conference. And all that went down this fall on October 30th and 31st in Denmark.
Experior users from across the world traveled to the small town Ry in Denmark to attend Experior Conference 2018. In total, 48 participants from 8 different countries attended the two-day conference to network, learn and be inspired. The conference also gave Xcelgo the chance to get the users up to date on the development of Experior 7.0.

Of course, the veteran users of Experior from TGW Logistics Group and BEUMER Group attended the conference, and they could present the exciting ways they have taken the use of Experior through the years.

The conference also featured some interesting use case presentations from educational institutions that use Experior in research and education. Among others, OWL University of Applied Sciences showed how they use Experior for machine learning.
As the conference was organized by Xcelgo, we of course had to get on stage ourselves. Together with Danish SME Riantics, our CEO presented how you can implement the use of Experior at smaller companies that doesn’t have all the modelling competencies in house.
And to round of the two conference days, our developers raised the contain on the new look and features of Experior 7.0 that is under development. Among other things, the attendees got a sneak peek of the new user interface and learned about the advantages of the new graphics engine.
Networking, socializing and award-winning Danish gins
The conference was also an opportunity for the Experior users to get to know each other and the Xcelgo team. To set off an evening of networking and socializing, conference attendees visited Denmark’s only dedicated gin distillery, Njord Gin.
Set in the cozy surroundings of the distillery in an old pumping station at the South Harbor of Denmark’s second largest city Aarhus, the participants were able to taste an assortment of Njord’s gins, learn about the history of gin and how Njord makes their award-winning gins.
